Theoretical Analysis and Comparison of the Thermal Performance, Construction Costs, and Maintenance Complexity between a Conventional and an Intensive Green Roof

In this paper, a comparison between conventional flat roof and an intensive green was made. Emphasis on thermal conductivity of individual layers, the calculation resistance, transmittance coefficient through both variants. The calculations for two analysed variants were made building located in town Rijeka Adriatic coast. This paper also presents construction technology cost together with time needed execution variant solutions. Finally, maintenance plans presented paper. results show that costs are higher than is more complex.
